You can be attacked from any angle at any point and for that, the speed comes into play. Back to the game and its definitely a scary experience with low lighting, torches and spooky noises constantly haunting you. Still would have been nice to change the layout but whatever. They opt for a transport move system which is commonplace, turning around is mapped to the face buttons so once you get used to the button mappings it flows quite nicely. OK so yes they do keep the speed and brutality of the series and for me at least made it a smooth experience with little to no vomit feelings. Jumping to VR I did wonder if they would be able to keep the feel and speed of the series whilst also limiting the need to vomit. Killing floor is a game series that is well known for its fast brutal combat and game flow. Very sensitive in terms of setup because any anomalies or reflections really put the aiming out of whack.Movement feels a bit sluggish as the transport marker seems to drag its ass along the floor. The UI requires you to touch/point at options and it’s very finicky.Very easy to go out of the play area with head turning. The story mode is objectively based and works really well and is well paced. Can dual wield which includes 2 different weapon types.Atmospheric-dark game full of spooky noises, you can use the limited light on your head for sight or add a torch by holding one. Satisfying combat from ranged gunplay to up-close melee.Online story co-op support and works well with a drop in the system.Pick up enemy limbs and use as a weapon. You holster your weapons and tools to your suit either on your chest or your back.Holdout- survival game where you can pick up new guns, ammo, health and powerups/modifiers like a punch to heal or infinite health.
